ERASMUS Online Language Support - OLS

Erasmus Online Language Support OLS offers Erasmus+ students and staff the opportunity to take advantage of language support before, during and after their mobility period and to have their language skills in the language of instruction or working language evaluated.

According to the Erasmus+ guidelines, a language assessment in the language of mobility is recommended for stays of 14 days or more (before the start of the mobility).

OLS - Language assessment

All outgoing students (study visits and internships) are recommended to take an online language test before the start of the mobility. The language specified in the learning agreement for students or trainees is relevant for this assessment.

The result of the language assessment has no influence on the study visit or internship abroad!

OLS - Language courses

After completing a language assessment, several language courses are available online .

REGISTRATION FOR THE OLS LANGUAGE TESTS

REGISTRATION - EU ACADEMY
Access to the platform remains active for at least three years. The platform is accessible and available to everyone.

The EU Academy is an open online learning platform of the EU Commission. In addition to language tests and language courses (OLS - Online Language Support), the EU Academy platform of the European Commission also offers thematic MOOCs (massive open online courses) and explanations of the most important EU directives and objectives. The content and range of courses are constantly being expanded.

The platform offers language tests and A1 courses in 29 languages (in addition to the 24 official languages of the EU, also the languages of the other 5 program countries). You can take as many tests and courses as you like in all the languages offered.

Preparatory, self-organized language courses

Self-organizedpreparatory (official) language courses can be financially supported after consultation with the International Office, depending on budgetary constraints.

IMPORTANT: Language courses in the host country cannot generally be counted as part of the stay, unless they are part of the curriculum.
