Medientheorien lädt zum Gastvortrag von Sophie Utikal, Sunanda Mesquita, Verena Melgarejo Weinandt und Imayna Caceres. Die geladenen KünstlerInnen sind die InitiatorInnen des Projektes "ANTI*COLONIAL FANTASIES - DECOLONIAL STRATEGIES" bzw. HerausgeberInnen des Buches sowie Beteiligte des Projektes an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien. The artistic project Anticolonial Fantasies* pursued a critique of the consequences of colonialism in everyday life as well as in Academia. Through an art exhibition that included performances, paintings, photographs, video and sound installations, as well as talks, workshops and actions, the project addressed racism, sexuality, gender, and spirituality, from the point of enunciation of racialized and othered bodies.
