ANTI*COLONIAL FANTASIES - DECOLONIAL STRATEGIES

24. April 2018, 18.00 Uhr Domgasse 1, EG, Raum DO.EG.21, 4020 Linz

The artistic project Anticolonial Fantasies* pursued a critique of the consequences of colonialism in everyday life as well as in Academia. Through an art exhibition that included performances, paintings, photographs, video and sound installations, as well as talks, workshops and actions, the project addressed racism, sexuality, gender, and spirituality, from the point of enunciation of racialized and othered bodies. It brought attention to the dialogue in our community, on how coloniality materializes in our lives and in the institutions we take part of – along our ongoing political aims through art to break from it. anticolonialfantasies.tumblr.com
