Interface Cultures Urban Mood visualizes the real-time mood of Linz’s citizens. It is a projection and sound installation situated in a small room. The installation continuously collects the data from tweeters in Linz, analyzing and summarizing each post in a single word. Through this keyword, the source tweets will create a typographic animation on the floor of the room, while colors and sounds will change to suit the content of the keyword. By sharing their personal thoughts on twitter, every Linzer becomes a part of this collective mood production.

Bei diesem Projekt handelt es sich um eine Projektion und Soundinstallation, die in einem kleinen Raum präsentiert wird. Die Installation sammelt ununterbrochen die Daten von den Tweeters in Linz, analysiert diese und fasst jede gepostete Nachricht in ein einzelnes Wort zusammen. Durch diese keywords gestalten die ursprünglichen tweets eine typografische Animation auf dem Fußboden des Raumes, während Farben und Töne sich je nach keyword verändern. Durch das Teilen der persönlichen Gedanken auf twitter, wird jeder Linzer / jede Linzerin Teil dieser kollektiven Stimmungsproduktion.
