ERASMUS+ short-term mobility

The Erasmus+ program 2021-2027 offers the possibility of physical short-term mobility with virtual components.

Students and university staff can complete a short physical mobility abroad as part of Blended Intensive Programs BIPs, which is combined with a mandatory virtual phase. Take advantage of this opportunity, especially if you do not have the opportunity to complete a longer study period abroad during your studies.

Duration of short-term mobility:

  • physical mobility - 5 to 30 days
  • virtual phase (compulsory) - no duration specified; this can vary depending on requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum credit of 3 ECTS (mandatory after return)
  • A learning agreement must be available
  • For stays abroad of more than 14 days, a language test Online Language Support / OLS must be completed before the stay abroad

Erasmus funding:

  • The funding amount for stays between 5 and 14 days
    is 70 euros per day.
  • From day 15, 50 euros per day are paid out.
  • The maximum funding period is 30 days.

Additional financial support can be requested for

  • environmentally friendly travel link
  • People with special needs (fewer opportunities) link

The Erasmus+ mobility grant can be awarded withinthe limits of the budget and upon submission of complete documentation.

Requirements for participation in an Erasmus short-term mobility:

  • Students who are enrolled at the University of Arts Linz
  • 2 completed semesters
  • the stay is only possible at a host university with which the university has an inter-institutional agreement
  • knowledge of the language of instruction at the host university or a good command of English
  • Mobility can only be carried out in a country that is not the country of residence during the course of study (submission of a current confirmation of registration from the Central Register of Residents)
  • Mobility to the country of origin has the lowest priority
  • The mobility grant is only paid for the period of physical presence at the host institution

Students on leave of absence cannot participate in the exchange program!
 

Process organization:

The invitation to participate in a BIP (a short-term mobility) always comes from one of our Erasmus+ partner universities and is forwarded to you by the International Office of the University of Arts Linz via the kunstuni-linz email distribution list.

If you are interested in participating in a BIP

  • ask the International Office of the University of Arts Linz whether you can apply (budgetary feasibility)
  • contact the inviting partner university
